HENRY REPEATING ARMS H1 CLASSIC YOUTH MODEL .22 LONG RIFLE LEVER ACTION RIFLE The H1 Classic Youth Model is designed to give young shooters a safe, comfortable, and confidence-building introduction to the shooting sports. Built on Henry’s proven H1 lever-action platform, it delivers the same smooth operation, accuracy, and American-made reliability as Henry’s full-size rifles—scaled specifically for smaller or first-time users. From the first shot onward, it provides a positive, low-recoil experience that helps new shooters build skills the right way. Fit is one of the most important factors when choosing a youth rifle, and the H1 Classic Youth Model gets it right. A shorter length of pull allows young shooters to shoulder the rifle naturally, maintain proper control, and focus on fundamentals like sight alignment and trigger discipline. Weighing just 4.5 pounds, it’s easy for kids to handle without fatigue, helping ensure range time stays productive and enjoyable. Parents will appreciate the rifle’s smooth, predictable lever action, which operates at a deliberate pace that encourages safe habits. Unlike semi-automatics, the manual action allows adults to supervise each step as a young shooter loads, cycles, and fires—helping build confidence, awareness, and responsibility one round at a time. A ¼-cock safety system adds an additional layer of security for handling and instruction. The Youth Model is chambered exclusively in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle, offering excellent accuracy, low recoil, and versatile performance for everything from backyard practice to early small-game hunts. This classic rimfire chambering helps young shooters stay focused on fundamentals without developing flinches or bad habits, while still providing enough capability for field use as their skills progress. A shortened barrel keeps overall length manageable while maintaining Henry’s hallmark accuracy and balance. Standard features include a blued steel barrel, adjustable rear sight, hooded front sight, and a 3/8” grooved receiver for easy scope mounting when appropriate. Like every Henry rimfire, the H1 Classic Youth Model is proudly made in America and stocked with genuine American walnut—an uncommon level of quality in a youth rifle today. Safe, lightweight, easy to operate, and built to last, the H1 Classic Youth Model is more than a beginner’s rifle. It’s a tool for learning, growing, and eventually passing down, making it a responsible and meaningful choice for families looking for the best youth lever-action rifle available.
